1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KCCP Africa ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Who Can Use KCCP Africa

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Platform. Learners under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. Facilitators must be qualified educators or professionals contributing African-contextualized content.

3. Our Mission

KCCP Africa is a community-driven, competency-based STEM learning platform created by and for Africans. We exist to transform education through real-world, mastery-based, African-led content in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

4. User Roles & Responsibilities

• Learners: Use materials responsibly, provide honest self-assessments, respect facilitators.
• Facilitators: Upload accurate, African-contextualized, high-quality content. All submissions are moderated for quality and relevance.
• Community: No hate speech, bullying, plagiarism, or harmful behavior. We celebrate African diversity and excellence.

5. Content Ownership & Licensing

All materials uploaded by facilitators are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0). This means:

• You retain ownership of your content
• Others may use, share, and adapt it (with credit)
• Adapted works must use the same license

6. Moderation & Approval

All uploaded materials go through community and expert moderation. We reserve the right to reject or remove content that:

• Is inaccurate or misleading
• Lacks African contextual relevance
• Violates copyright or these terms

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Impersonate others
• Upload malicious files
• Spam or harass users
• Attempt to hack or disrupt the Platform

8. Privacy & Data

We respect your privacy. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account anytime from your profile.

10. Limitation of Liability

KCCP Africa is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect damages or loss of data. We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee it.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, with respect to our African headquarters and mission.
